I love the warm colors in these fabrics, and I updated a version of the Hearth and Home block to express the concept of a cozy, warm evening wrapped up in a quilt.

Here is a quilt I designed using printed panels. I love botanical prints so I was thrilled when Robert Kaufman fabrics asked me to design using this collection. Usually I watercolor with botanicals, but this was just as fun to create using my sewing machine. The free pattern will soon be on their website:www.robertkaufman.com

My new circle of nine quilt, Western Trails, that I designed for Marcus fabrics is now on their website as a pattern you can download for free. I used two blocks, Jack’s Delight and Buckwheat to make the design. I like to call it Jack eats buckwheat for breakfast. Marcus just calls it Western Trails. I often give funny names to my quilts while I am making them.
